Frequently Asked Questions

Got Questions About
Our Free Collection Service?

Everything Cape Town procurement officers, IT managers and compliance teams ask us before booking a collection.

Is the collection really free?

Yes — standard bulk corporate e-waste collections are 100% free, with no hidden fees. Larger or highly customised jobs (on-site destruction, unlimited volumes, resale assistance) fall under our paid Premium or Custom packages.

What happens to our data?

Every drive is either software-wiped to POPI/GDPR-compliant standards or physically destroyed, depending on your package. You receive a signed Certificate of Data Destruction for your records.

Can you prove what happened to our equipment for an audit?

Yes. Alongside your Certificate of Destruction, we send a full detailed report three months after we receive your equipment, documenting exactly what was refurbished, recycled or destroyed.

What can we hand over?

Desktops, laptops, monitors, servers, printers, cellphones, televisions, batteries, consoles, power stations, UPS systems and even stoves — if it plugs in, we'll likely take it.

Does this help with our BEE or ESG reporting?

Yes. Donated equipment is routed to underserved schools, NGOs and township tech hubs, and we can provide documentation to support your BEE scorecard and ESG disclosures.

Do you collect computer waste outside Cape Town?

No - our computer and I.T. waste collection service currently covers Cape Town only. If your business is based in Cape Town and has computers or I.T. equipment to hand over, get in touch below.
